Job description

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Senior Project Manager - NAO in New Albany, OH. The Senior Project Manager - NAO leads all phases of large-scale infrastructure and telecommunications project delivery, overseeing teams, budgets, and schedules. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, managing risk, and maintaining strong client relationships within high-demand environments. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with extensive experience in structured cabling or hyperscale data center construction.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $140,000 to $170,000 Annually BOE

Licenses/Certifications Required:

  • PMP certification preferred
  • BICSI RCDD or RTPM preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of large-scale structured cabling and integrated systems projects from pre-construction to close-out.
  • Oversee project budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control measures to ensure projects meet profitability goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, proactively managing resources to meet critical milestones.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring clear communication, issue resolution, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage subcontractor and vendor performance to ensure compliant, high-quality project delivery within contract terms.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards.
  • Coordinate with design teams and general contractors to review specifications and identify value engineering opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop junior project management staff and field leadership to support professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Manage change order processes, including identification, pricing, negotiation, and documentation.
  • Provide regular project status updates and financial reports to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience managing structured cabling, low-voltage, or large-scale telecommunications projects.
  • Proven experience managing projects within hyperscale data center environments or high-value commercial construction.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fiber optics, copper distribution systems, and industry-standard installation methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining budget and schedule integrity.
  • Proficiency in construction technology platforms and project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands to operate computers and mobile devices.
  • Ability to perform field inspections, which may include climbing stairs or ladders.
  • Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending in various environmental conditions.
  • May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required by company needs.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $140,000 to $170,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
