About the role
  • We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support a high-volume purchasing team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on managing purchase requisitions and purchase orders within SAP, ensuring requests are complete, accurate, and processed efficiently through the procurement workflow.
  • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in SAP, and proactive in resolving issues so purchase orders move smoothly through the system without delays.

What you'll do
  • Review and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) within SAP
  • Identify and resolve issues such as missing information, incorrect vendors, or approval gaps
  • Convert approved PRs into purchase orders (POs) and release them in the system
  • Collaborate with engineers, internal teams, and vendors to resolve purchasing or order issues
  • Track requisitions and follow up to ensure orders are processed on time
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records and support procure-to-pay workflows
  • Assist with vendor setup, documentation, and purchasing compliance when needed

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience
  • Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactional work
  • Effective communication skills when working with internal teams and vendors
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or semiconductor environments is a plus
