Telecom Estimator / Project Manager (Senior Level)
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 annually, DOE

We’re seeking a seasoned Telecom Estimator or Project Manager to take ownership of complex telecom infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout. You’ll be joining a long-standing commercial electrical and low-voltage contractor with several specialized divisions, a strong Bay Area presence, and projects spanning multiple states. What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Lead telecom projects from initial planning through final completion.
- Develop and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Oversee project financials including billing, cost tracking, and profitability.
- Prepare schedules of values (SOV), billing packages, and monthly reporting.
- Identify, price, and negotiate change orders.
- Monitor schedules and proactively address delays or risks.
- Review contract documents to ensure compliance and proper execution.
- Manage subcontractor scopes, pricing, and performance.
- Coordinate with field leadership to ensure alignment on schedule, labor, and budget.
- Partner with estimating, virtual construction, and field teams during preconstruction.
- Track and manage RFIs, submittals, and procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Support and mentor junior team members.

- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and processes.
Experience & Background
- 5+ years of telecom project management or estimating experience.
- Proven experience working with construction drawings, specifications, and project financials.
- Background in electrical or telecom construction environments.
- Experience with change order estimating and contract management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools such as Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar platforms.
- RCGG certification is highly desirable and considered a strong plus.
Work Environment & Requirements
- Ability to travel to project sites and meetings as needed.
- Comfortable working in both office and active construction site settings.
- Ability to wear required PPE and navigate job sites safely as required
- Must be able to perform standard physical activities such as walking, standing, and occasional lifting.
