Intrepid Fiber Networks delivers reliable, secure, high-capacity fiber connectivity to communities across the United States. We are building the infrastructure needed for the future of broadband and enabling last-mile fiber to become the standard everywhere.
Role Summary
The Project Manager (Market Readiness) leads the planning and development of fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) deployments. This role focuses on feasibility, estimating, design coordination, permitting, and construction readiness to ensure projects are fully prepared for successful execution.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead pre-construction planning for FTTH deployments across assigned markets
  • Coordinate engineering and design to ensure complete, accurate, and constructible OSP designs
  • Manage permitting strategy and approvals with local jurisdictions and utilities
  • Support contractor and vendor selection and scope alignment
  • Build and maintain project schedules and milestone tracking
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies prior to construction
  • Ensure full construction readiness (designs, permits, materials, contractors)
  • Lead project handoff to construction teams
  • Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in telecommunications or utility infrastructure
  • Experience in FTTH planning, permitting, and estimating preferred
  • Strong knowledge of OSP construction methods (aerial and underground)
  • Familiarity with municipal permitting and right-of-way coordination
  • Strong financial, analytical, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and mapping tools
  • Valid driver's license
