Pay: $2,000–$2,500 per week


Location: Monroe, Saginaw, Midland, Bay City, Port Huron, Pontiac & Flint MI


Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor


Koscom Networks is currently hiring experienced FTTH Fiber Technicians for residential fiber installation and service activation projects in Monroe, Saginaw, Midland, Bay City, Port Huron, Pontiac & Flint MI. This is a 1099 contractor opportunity for experienced technicians who are ready to work independently in the field.


Responsibilities

  • Perform FTTH residential fiber installations and service activations
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair fiber internet services
  • Test fiber connections and verify service quality
  • Educate customers on installed equipment and services
  • Complete work orders and service documentation accurately
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment
  • Follow company quality and safety standards


Requirements

  • Previous FTTH or fiber optic installation experience
  • Experience troubleshooting fiber internet services
  • Own tools required
  • Truck, van, or SUV required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment
  • Ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Flexible availability, including occasional weekends


This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Technicians are responsible for providing their own vehicle and tools.
