Description:

The Technical Infrastructure PM will engage and assist the Team''s effort in organizing, coordinating and facilitating relocating the Primary Data Center from One Penn Plaza to the selected Co-Location facility.

·       10years of experience in IT support focused on Project Management in infrastructure, esp. Data center build\Relocations.

·       Can commute to Newark NJ on Hybrid basis as per client needs

·       Has performed more than 3 data center moves\builds (Facilities\Network\Compute\Storage\Migrate)

·       Led>2 (1000 users scope) corporate headquarters moves and was responsible for the networking and telecom procurement. New LAN \ MDF design-Build-Go-Live

Job Description – Infra PM:

·       The infrastructure of information technology comprises of hardware systems, software, network connections and servers.

·       The PM will manage project efforts for DC (new)design\build\migrate LAN\MDF design build projects portfolio.

·       Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

·       Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.

·       Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.

·       Act as change agent to improve overall processes and programs.

·       Provide guidance to project team throughout project lifecycle to meet applicable business requirements.

·       Support the development and deployment of project management standards, guidelines, and processes.

·       Ensure resource availability and allocation.

·       Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.

·       Report and escalate to management as needed.

·       Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

·       Perform risk management to minimize project risks

·       Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

·       Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

·       Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.

·       Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.

·       Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.

·       Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs.
