Job Description

Garnet Hotels is looking for a seasoned Construction Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the hotel and hospitality construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing hospitality brand and lead landmark hotel projects from conception through to handover.

As our Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of hotel construction and renovation projects — managing budgets, timelines, contractors, and stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards expected of the Garnet Hotels brand.


Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage hotel construction, new-build, and renovation projects from pre-construction through to handover
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules and ensure strict adherence
  • Manage and coordinate contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and interior designers
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and brand standards
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior leadership and ownership groups
  • Oversee snag lists and facilitate smooth handover to hotel operations teams


Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of construction project management experience, with significant exposure to the hotel or hospitality sector
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of delivering hotel projects on time and within budget
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work at project locations as required
  • Experience managing project budgets of $5M+
