Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Telecom Analyst’s responsibility is to plan, develop, and implement the PruittHealth telecommunications infrastructure. This includes installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all telephone systems and services, mobile devices, voicemail, PBX and Cloud communication and eFax systems. The person will also analyze and resolve telecommunications circuit issues in a timely and accurate fashion, and support user needs where required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1.Procure, setup, maintain, and troubleshoot corporate iPhones

2.Design and support telecommunications infrastructure and its associated software, including PBXs, call management systems, voice mail, interactive voice response

3.Integrate these systems with enterprise LANs, WANs, wireless LANs, and Internet-based services and protocols

4.Monitor and identify capacity and performance issues for telecom traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of telecom systems

5.Generate telecommunications usage and network traffic reports

6.Configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end user telecommunications, telephony, and voice/data software products

7.Perform analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of telecommunications problems for end users; recommend and implement corrective solutions

8.Conduct frame relay, ISDN, and switch maintenance

9.Modify and/or rearrange telecommunications systems to accommodate additional services or changes

10.Assist with Inspection, testing, and maintenance of telephone lines, circuits, trunks, and associated wiring and cabling

11.Where necessary, liaise with equipment vendors during installations, acquisition negotiations, and hardware performance issues

12.Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of telecom systems
