CUI Telecommunications is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead telecommunications construction operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who understands telecommunications construction, knows how to lead field teams and subcontractors, and can balance production, quality, safety, and customer expectations.

As a Construction Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day construction operations while developing strong teams, removing obstacles in the field, and creating the accountability necessary to consistently deliver results.

What We're Looking For
  • Previous management experience in telecommunications construction, fiber construction, underground construction, utility construction, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications construction practices, including underground and/or aerial construction.
  • Experience leading supervisors, field crews, and subcontractor partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of production management, scheduling, workforce planning, quality control, and safety.
  • Ability to analyze operational performance and use data to drive decisions and improve results.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced field environment and adapt quickly to changing operational demands.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, 811 utility locating requirements, and construction safety practices.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned market as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of telecommunications, fiber, utility, or construction experience.
  • 3+ years of construction leadership or management experience.
  • Experience managing both in-house and subcontractor construction crews.
  • Experience supporting major telecommunications, broadband, fiber, or MSO construction programs.
  • Knowledge of underground fiber placement, directional boring, trenching, restoration, aerial construction, splicing, and related telecommunications construction activities.
  • Experience managing project budgets, production forecasts, and operational KPIs.
