Job Summary: 

Plans, directs, and coordinates activities for existing or newly assigned projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame by supporting the business unit, customers, and companies, which may include but not limited to developing supporting documentation, the management of all customer related activities; and any ancillary new program support as required. Interaction with customers and internal employees will be required by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Typically, a Project Manager will be assigned to multiple concurrent projects of a routine nature, a small number of projects of moderate complexity, or a mixture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops, clarifies and manages the scope of the project, defines deliverables and achieves targeted outcomes.
  • Ensure project requirements are achieved in a timely fashion and within budget guidelines.
  • Assembles project team, identifies needed resources, assigns responsibilities and develops timeframes to facilitate successful completion of project activities and deliverables.
  • Determines project costs/ensures delivery on time and within budgetary guidelines.
  • Ensures compatibility and consistency with existing architectural and enterprise standards.
  • Performs cost/benefit analysis of actions and initiatives.
  • Actively identifies and implements improvements to processes, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency, quality, and business outcomes. Leverages available tools and technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance outcomes

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of relevant client project systems preferred.
  • Business experience relevant to the assigned projects strongly preferred.
