Global Technology Advisor (IT Channel Sales Executive)

We are partnered with an unstoppable force in the Technology space on their search for a Global Technology Advisor (IT Channel Sales Executive)! This organization continues to experience tremendous growth across UCaaS, CCaaS, IaaS, SD-WAN, BRaaS, DRaas, and Cybersecurity solutions; opportunities are endless! The Global Technology Advisor will be responsible for generating new monthly recurring revenue (MRC), maintaining strong relationships with partners, vendors, and clients, and supporting complex Technology solutions and long-term strategies for Mid-Market and Enterprise organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Close $115K+ in new MRC annually
  • Lead generation via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, videos, event marketing, etc.
  • Work jointly with the support staff (Marketing, Operations, Sales Management, Engineers, Account Managers, etc.) to build sales and client technology strategies; understand business requirements, and work with engineers to architect the right solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with new prospects, existing customers, partners, and vendors; increase client retention
  • Continuously train on sales skills and product knowledge
  • Represent the organization in the best possible light at all times
  • Recruit and engage attendees for company sponsored events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • In depth knowledge of technology solutions UCaaS, CCaaS, IaaS, SD-WAN, BRaaS, DRaaS, Cybersecurity required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; equivalent professional experience considered
  • Proven track record of successful lead/opportunity generation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and consistent discipline in following proven sales processes; unstoppable drive with no desire to give up or accept'status quo'
  • Salesforce (or other CRM) experience
  • 5+ years in IT Sales or equivalent experience required (CCaaS & Telecom Sales highly preferred)
  • Ability to travel to quarterly and annual company events
  • Must reside within commutable distance to Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; or Detroit, MI
