“We are currently seeking a Business Development Vice President", specializing in the Telecom Broadband Industry with a strong focus on the Colorado market. In this role, you will leverage your local industry knowledge and existing relationships with key customers such as Charter, Lumen, Zayo, and Dish Networks to develop and manage accounts across the region and nationwide. You will be responsible for implementing the company’s strategy within the assigned territory and accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored technical solutions and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide localized support, consultation, and education on service offerings to accounts and end users in Colorado and beyond.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive plans to defend and expand markets, focusing on Colorado-based customers like Charter, Lumen, Zayo, and Dish Networks.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales opportunity pipeline to meet annual top-line growth targets.
  • Maintain awareness of Colorado market trends and dynamics within assigned accounts, the telecom segment, and the region.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve shared success across segments, accounts, and regions.
  • Drive sustainable sales growth by cultivating relationships with key decision-makers, particularly within Colorado-based organizations.
  • Create detailed action plans tailored to the Colorado market and key customers, leveraging industry knowledge and understanding of local buying influences.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing account planning and communication strategies.
  • Initiate opportunities to engage with accounts through Executive Reviews, localized technical seminars, and training events to uncover new opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage day-to-day sales activities and customer relationships.
  • Participate in local industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen the company's presence and uncover new opportunities.


About You:

  • Strong familiarity with the Colorado telecom broadband market and key players such as Charter, Lumen, Zayo, and Dish Networks.
  • Proven track record in business development or account management, particularly with Colorado-based customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with decision-makers in the local telecom and broadband industries.
  • Willing to travel domestically up to 70%, with a focus on the Colorado region and national expansion as needed.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, coupled with a hands-on approach to solving complex challenges.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Strong leadership and organizational planning skills, with the ability to manage and communicate clear goals.
