Title : Business Solutions Analyst
Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid )

Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Solutions Analyst to support business process improvement, risk management, privacy, and compliance initiatives across the organization. This role works closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, document processes, assess risks, and implement solutions that improve operational efficiency and support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for technology initiatives.
  • Conduct privacy assessments and compliance reviews involving sensitive and confidential information.
  • Analyze, document, and maintain data flows and data lifecycle processes to support governance and compliance.
  • Develop business process workflows, process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), operating models, and governance documentation.
  • Perform vendor and third-party risk assessments, including technology and supply chain risk reviews.
  • Support enterprise risk management activities, including risk assessments, risk register maintenance, issue tracking, corrective action planning, and risk reporting.
  • Interpret and apply privacy, security, and regulatory requirements to business processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews to gather business requirements and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Utilize business analysis and workflow management tools to design, document, and optimize operational processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business solutions align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands on experience applying analytical processes on IT projects, including business systems analysis and design.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting privacy assessments and compliance reviews involving sensitive data.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, data flow mapping, and data lifecycle management.
  • Experience creating workflows, SOPs, governance documentation, and operating models.
  • Experience performing vendor risk, third-party risk, and supply chain risk assessments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise risk management principles, risk assessments, and risk reporting.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, facilitating workshops, and translating business needs into documented processes.
  • Proficiency with business analysis and workflow tools such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Power Platform, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
