Lead end-to-end delivery of medium-to-large advertising programs, collaborating with engineering, product, and device teams (e.g., FireTV, Alexa, Prime Video) to architect, prototype, and deploy scalable solutions.
Drive technical strategy by balancing business priorities with feasibility, anticipating constraints, and applying data-driven risk mitigation to ensure timely execution.
Manage the complete lifecycle of initiatives-from design and implementation to documentation and measurement-while breaking complex challenges into actionable projects.
Collect requirements, write functional and test specifications, and coordinate scoping, scheduling, and deployment, analyzing cost-benefit trade-offs to prioritize features.
Build cross-functional alliances with advertising infrastructure, device teams, legal, and finance to align roadmaps, secure resources, and drive execution.
Communicate technical status, risks, and strategy to senior leadership and stakeholders, translating between technical and business audiences to align priorities.
Own projects end-to-end, applying pragmatic de-risking and calculated bets to deliver high-impact ad experiences that scale across Amazon's device ecosystem.
A day in the life
As a Principal Tech Program Manager on our team, you'll lead the technical planning, coordination, and architecture of multiple programs that span our advertising businesses

Your days involve working alongside Program Managers, Product Managers, and engineering teams to navigate complex, highly-technical projects with significant visibility across Amazon. You'll collaborate with partners across the organization, from our advertising core stack to device teams, ensuring seamless execution and alignment on strategy and timelines.
About the team
We are a collaborative group focused on creating innovative advertising experiences across Amazon's device ecosystem

Our team owns advertising businesses spanning Fire TV, Alexa, Fire Tablet, Prime Video, Audio, and Grocery. We're committed to building solutions that provide customers with greater convenience and selection while enabling advertisers to connect meaningfully with their audiences.
