-Summary of Role:
A Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) RF Layout Designer is responsible for leading the physical implementation of high-performance RF/analog integrated Devices test structures, circuits and support technology development and PDK enablement. Looking for technical strong candidates to work in challenging technology development role. This will require enabling new nodes for future of RF communication. This role bridges circuit design, device technology, and manufacturable layout, ensuring optimal performance, yield, and reliability. Person should be hands on expert in cmos layout design, able to write automation scripts, create new layouts modifies existing ones.
Collaborate with device/process teams to define/validate design rules and layout methodologies.
Support new stack enablement, test structures, and layout guidelines
Provide feedback to improve design rules, PDK quality, layout productivity, and design automation.
This position also requires person to be technical and leader. Should be comfortable with leading small team if and when required. Work with different organizations and enable fast technology introduction and ramp.
-Essential Responsibilities:
- Deliver qualification test chips on time.
- Coordinate with multiple teams and drive the project in timely cost sensitive fashion.
-Other Responsibilities
Train junior engineers, strive to improve quality of the workflow. May required to lead medium-size projects and small team.

BS + 8-10 years of experience or
MS + 7 or more years or
PhD + 5 or more years
-Preferred Qualifications
- Worked on RF/Analog layout designs. Experienced in cadence virtuosos and Skill programming.
- Very familiar with the foundry design rules. Able to reason and if needed compact the designs.
-Lead small teams, performed the role of technical/project leads.

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
