  • Support all Clinical Learning Center (CLC) technology, including high-fidelity patient simulators, task trainers, audiovisual recording systems, simulation control systems, and related instructional technologies.
  • Program and test simulation scenarios for instructional activities, Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), competency assessments, and other simulation-based learning experiences.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance, software updates, equipment calibration, vendor communication, repairs, and warranty services for simulation equipment and instructional technology.
  • Provide technical support for program-specific educational software, assessment platforms, clinical education management systems, simulation software, and other instructional technologies utilized by the program.
  • Coordinate technology requirements for electronic examinations and assessment activities, including system setup, deployment, troubleshooting, and post-examination support.
  • Support standardized patient activities by coordinating simulation technology, audiovisual recording systems, operational logistics, and technical support during educational sessions.
  • Coordinate and provide technology training for faculty and staff on classroom technology, simulation equipment, educational software, audiovisual systems, and other program-supported technologies.
  • Develop, maintain, and update written standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and technology documentation for simulation equipment, classroom technology, and instructional technology resources.
  • Maintain inventory records for all departmental technology, simulation equipment, software licenses, warranties, supplies, and replacement schedules.
  • Assist with maintaining technology-related databases, user accounts, equipment records, and digital file organization in accordance with institutional policies.
  • Assist the PA Program with maintaining technology and simulation resources that support compliance with ARC-PA accreditation standards, assessment activities, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technology support for admissions activities, orientation, White Coat Ceremony, simulation exercises, skills laboratories, special events, and other program-sponsored educational activities as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies regarding software licensing, data security, FERPA requirements, equipment security, and appropriate technology use.
  • Demonstrate civil, professional, and inclusive behavior when interacting with faculty, staff, learners, standardized patients, visitors, and community partners.
  • Promote a collaborative, flexible, and inclusive work environment by participating in professional development activities that enhance awareness of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
  • Perform other College and Program duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Educational Technology, Healthcare Simulation, Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in information technology, healthcare simulation, educational technology, or a closely related field.
