Job description

Velocity is seeking a Technical Admin. The Technical Administrator role requires strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple technician jobs simultaneously through both phone and chat support channels.
This is an on-site position at our Velocity Headquarters in Holland, OH. Must be able to work the following shifts listed below:
  • 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Mon–Fri)
  • 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Tue–Sat)
  • 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (Tue–Sat)
Primary Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Supporting and troubleshooting printer-related issues.
  • Maintaining constant communication with technicians, field operations, and internal support teams.
  • Managing multiple active jobs at the same time while ensuring timely updates and resolution progress.
  • Providing clear and accurate documentation on all job activities, troubleshooting steps, and outcomes.
  • Following up with technicians to ensure issues are progressing appropriately and to remove any roadblocks.
  • Coordinating with various teams to ensure efficient dispatching, communication, and customer support.
  • Monitoring job status, prioritizing workload, and ensuring critical issues receive prompt attention.
  • Acting as a central point of contact between technicians and support teams to drive successful job completion.
Qualifications, Experience amp; Education:
  • High school diploma
  • 1+ years computer experience required.
  • CompTIA A+ certification preferred but not required.
  • Strong customer service experience that showcases a professional, patient, and courteous approach to working with customers, visitors, and other team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
Knowledge, Skills amp; Abilities:
  • Proficient in MC Office applications with specific emphasis on Excel and Outlook.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Windows.
  • Ability to learn and understand custom software systems/portals and other online tools.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical ability to problem solve.
  • Self-starter and can work well independently as well as with others on a team.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
