RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is looking for a Technology Support Technician in Georgetown, TX.
Overview:
We are seeking a customer-focused Technology Support Technician to join a collaborative IT team supporting employees across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, helping people, and delivering an exceptional support experience.
The Technology Support Technician will provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, systems, and end-user issues while serving as a trusted resource for employees at all levels. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide frontline technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business applications
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and account-related issues
* Respond to support requests and communicate clearly with users throughout the resolution process
* Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment setup, account provisioning, and access management
* Document issues, resolutions, and support activities within the ticketing system
* Escalate complex issues when necessary and collaborate with other IT team members to ensure timely resolution
* Maintain inventory and assist with technology deployments, upgrades, and equipment replacements
* Support Microsoft 365 and other business-critical applications
* Contribute to process improvements and help identify opportunities to enhance the end-user experience
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience providing technical support in a help desk, desktop support, or IT support environment
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, user-friendly manner
* Experience supporting Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus
* Experience supporting Active Directory, user account management, and device provisioning
* Familiarity with networking fundamentals, mobile device support, and ticketing systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
