IT Support Specialist

Position Type: Contract with potential for Contract-to-Hire
Work Arrangement: Onsite

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with strong technical aptitude and excellent customer service skills to provide hands-on support in an onsite environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with users, and supporting a variety of technology and mobile devices.

The ideal candidate will have a solid general technology background, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, device, and connectivity issues.
  • Support Zebra scanners, handheld devices, mobile printers, and related equipment.
  • Assist users with technical issues in a professional, patient, and customer-focused manner.
  • Troubleshoot issues and escalate more complex problems when appropriate.
  • Install, configure, and support end-user devices and equipment.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions.
  • Learn and support new technologies and systems as needed.
  • Provide hands-on onsite technical support.

Qualifications:

  • Previous IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, Technical Support, or related experience.
  • Strong general technology and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Zebra scanners, handheld devices, and mobile printers strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems, devices, and technologies.
