Job description

At Podium, we bring AI Employees to local businesses that turn every conversation into revenue. Trusted by 60,000+ businesses across Auto, Home Services, and Aesthetics, Podium captures and converts leads 24/7, driving both new business and repeat customers.
In under 24 months, we crossed $100M in AI Agent ARR, scaling 300% year-over-year. During this time, we've deployed 10,000 AI employees to empower real business outcomes for our customers. Podium is building what we believe will be the most impactful AI employee ecosystem for local business.
Podium has been recognized as the Best AI Implementation by Inc. Magazine, highlighted by OpenAI for building revenue-driving AI Agents, and awarded the #1 AI Agent for Business Operations by G2.
Our growth is fueled by hiring exceptional people, holding them to high standards, and creating opportunities for them to grow and make an impact. Our operating principles guide daily behavior and ensure we hire people who will thrive at Podium. If you're hungry for growth, aligned to our operating principles, and ready to get to work, you won't find a better place to learn and accelerate your career.
The Director, Talent Acquisition will lead recruiting across all geographies and functions. This individual will partner with leaders across the business to attract and hire the global talent required to bring AI to local businesses and reach our next stage of growth.
This role is required to be in office 5 days per week in our Lehi, Utah HQ.
What you will be doing:
  • Hire, coach, and develop a team of high-performing recruiting managers and individual contributors across all functions (e.g., G&A, GTM, Technical)
  • Run a performance and data-driven recruiting team - drive pipeline, hold the team accountable to metrics, and move with extreme urgency
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to align recruiting strategy with business priorities. Oversee the recruiting lifecycle for executive-level positions internally and with external search partners, when needed
  • Build an AI-driven recruiting function
  • Build playbooks and processes that allow our recruiting function to scale
  • Get in the weeds - source candidates directly, own reqs when needed, and stay close to the work
  • Employer branding - build an employer brand that attracts the right talent

What you should have:
  • 7+ years recruiting experience, including experience leading leaders and building high-performing teams
  • Experience at a SaaS company of meaningful scale
  • Sales team mentality - you run recruiting like a revenue org: pipeline reviews, accountability, and hustle
  • You're data-driven - you run your function off metrics and use numbers to make every decision and coach your team
  • First principles thinking - if your instinct is to slow things down, look at best practices, and add unnecessary process, this isn't the right fit
  • Extreme urgency - you move fast, expect the same from your team, and don't let pipeline sit
  • AI fluency - you are currently using AI to improve recruiting outcomes

What we hope you have:
  • Technical recruiting background - you've hired engineers, product, or other technical roles
  • Deep sourcing expertise - you can teach the team how tos ource effectively and do not just rely on inbounds and brand

Why you'll love working here:
  • The work matters: hiring and recruiting the best global talent is critical to bringing AI to local businesses
  • You'll work alongside other talented, AI-forward operators
  • You'll have real ownership to build a recruiting org from a position of strength
  • Podium is winning, and this is your seat on that team

Benefits
  • Open and transparent culture
  • Life insurance, long and short-term disability coverage
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave
  • Fertility Benefits
  • Generous vacation time, plus three 4-day summer holiday weekends
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401k Plan
  • Bi-annual swag drops with cool Podium gear and apparel
  • A stellar HQ (Utah) gym with local professional coaches and classes offered
  • Onsite HQ (Utah) child care center, subsidized for employees

Podium provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, genetic information, marital status or veteran status.
