Job description

We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to conduct full-cycle recruiting within our corporate office. As a trusted talent advisor, this position partners closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs, provide consultative recruiting support and develop talent strategies that attract and secure top talent. The role will leverage market intelligence, recruitment metrics and industry insights to drive hiring decisions and deliver an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring teams.
Location: The position is based at Martin Marietta's corporate headquarters in Raleigh and is on-site Monday through Friday offering the opportunity to work closely with business leaders, HR partners and the Talent Acquisition team in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for corporate Finance, Accounting, IS and Engineering roles as well as salaried field positions ensuring a seamless and high-quality candidate experience.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify, engage and attract both active and passive candidates. Leverage market intelligence, talent mapping, competitive research, social media, job boards, professional associations, industry networks and recruiting analytics to build robust talent pipelines.
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and business leaders serving as a strategic talent advisor by providing guidance on hiring strategies, talent market trends, workforce planning and candidate assessment.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor throughout the hiring process, guiding interview planning, selection criteria and offer negotiations to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to cross-functional Talent Acquisition initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing recruitment processes, employer branding, talent attraction and candidate engagement.
  • Ensure all recruitment activities are conducted in alignment with the company’s Mission, Vision, and Values, and in full compliance with internal policies and the Code of Ethical Business Conduct

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience including experience recruiting for Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Engineering or other specialized professional disciplines strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday preferred) and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Strong candidate sourcing and headhunting capabilities including Boolean search techniques, direct sourcing, talent mapping, networking and social media recruiting strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage market data, talent intelligence and competitive insights to identify and engage passive candidates.
  • Experience developing and presenting competitive offers, navigating compensation considerations, managing negotiations and effectively closing candidates.
  • Ability to influence and build strong cross-functional relationships with business leaders through exceptional communication, consultative partnership and customer service.
  • A proactive, collaborative and solutions-oriented approach with a genuine passion for creating exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of urgency, accountability and ownership.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
