Niemann Foods Systems Support Technician
SUMMARY
Systems Support Technician is responsible for installation and maintenance of the company's computer, telecommunications equipment, and wiring. Travel is required up to four days a week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Install, maintain, upgrade, and configure personal computer workstation hardware, network server hardware, printers, and modems.
  • Coordinate installation, maintenance, configuration and upgrades for telecommunications systems and equipment for stores and Support Center
  • Coordinate installation and maintenance of voice and data network wiring related equipment including hubs, switches, routers, CSU's, and firewalls
  • Coordinate installation, configuration and maintenance of Kronos time clocks.
  • Install and configure user workstation operating system software, operating system upgrades and patches as needed.
  • Work with many company's WAN and ISP vendors to monitor and maintain the reliability and availability of the company's wide-area-network and Internet access.
  • Assist the Retail Systems Analyst in installing, maintaining and upgrading store POS system hardware, software and wiring.
  • Coordinate and schedule work performed by third-party vendors involving voice and data wiring, telecommunications systems installation, configuration and training.
  • Purchase equipment and supplies, as needed for projects and ongoing maintenance needs.
  • Other tasks and duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Company vehicle provided during work hours - travel is required up to four days a week
