Job Title: IT Systems Support Technician

Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Onsite with local travel)

Pay Range: $50,000 - 65,000 / year depending on experience

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Support Technician to join a growing IT team in Oklahoma City. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience supporting server environments, Microsoft 365 administration, networking infrastructure, and end-user support in a fast-paced business environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently while supporting multiple systems and users.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain Windows Server environments
  • Troubleshoot and manage server infrastructure including:
    • RAID configurations
    • Server Manager
    • Hyper-V
    • SQL environments
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 products and the Microsoft 365 Admin Portal
  • Configure and troubleshoot DNS records including SPF and TXT records
  • Support network infrastructure including:
    • VLANs
    • DHCP
    • VPN connectivity
    • Switches and wireless networking
  • Assist with maintaining HIPAA-compliant systems and secure Outlook/email configurations
  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and end-user devices
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Document technical issues and resolutions within ticketing systems
  • Escalate advanced infrastructure issues when necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to internal users

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure support experience
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Hyper-V
    • RAID configurations
    • Microsoft 365 administration
    • DNS, SPF, and TXT records
    • VLANs, DHCP, and VPN technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of HIPAA compliance and email security best practices
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

  • CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certifications
  • Experience supporting SQL environments
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • MSP or multi-site support experience
