The Defense Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for acleared Systems Engineeron the Digital Infrastructure Network Manager(DINM)Program in Orlando, Dayton, or Northern Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Department of the Air Force.

We are seeking an accomplishedSystems Engineertojoina high-impact team delivering enterprise command and control solutions for the Department of the Air Force. In this critical leadership role, you will partner with the Program Manager to oversee program execution, drive operational excellence, and ensure alignment with strategicobjectives. You will help manage cross-functional teams,in particular operating out of the Orlando FL location,coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders, and support the integration, testing, and deployment of advanced capabilities in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong program managementexpertise, a collaborative leadership style, and a commitment to delivering mission success on complex, multi-vendor efforts.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain MBSE projects in Cameo Systems Modeler.

  • Responsible for the development of MBSE-based SysML models, diagrams, and simulations.

  • Support a System of Systems digital engineering approach to iterate through architecture concepts and design.

  • Collaborating with multiple contractors and integrating Cameo model inputs into source models.

  • Developing baseline architecture model of existing systems and capturing configuration of network.

  • Facilitate technical and programmatic information exchange in support of program objectives.

  • Participate in Working Groups and IPTs, informal and formal technical interchanges, and formal reviews.

  • Develop technical roadmaps; establish and maintain reference architectures.

  • Document interfaces and standards.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS degreeand 8 - 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 - 10 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years will be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Must possess a minimum of a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

  • Demonstrable knowledge in Systems Engineering modeling tools (e.g. DOORS and Cameo)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, and other systems engineers in the development of complex DoD systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution situations involving the full spectrum of system integration activities.

  • Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience

  • Familiarity with Cloud and Edge Computing, Networks, Tactical Communications, Data Management, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, and C4ISR systems integration.

  • Demonstrated experience with Agile program execution and using agile tools (e.g. Jira and Confluence).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with development descriptive models for network architecture.

  • Prior experience developing Cameo model validation scripts.

  • Prior experience support Department of the Air Force programs.

  • Previous experience working on complex multi-domain systems.

  • Experience with large weapons systems and command and control platforms across the DoD portfolio.
