A Telecommute Network Firewall Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network firewall systems to protect an organization's data and systems from unauthorized access or cyber threats, all while working remotely. Their duties include configuring firewall rules, monitoring network traffic, troubleshooting security issues, and ensuring compliance with security policies. They often collaborate with IT teams to assess risks, upgrade hardware or software, and respond to incidents, all via remote tools and communication platforms.
