Job description

As a Network Security Product Management, Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase in Cybersecurity Engineering, you will own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for a global portfolio of critical network security solutions. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Security Engineering with dotted-line accountability to Network Services, you will lead a talented team of product owners delivering secure, scalable solutions across global infrastructure. You will drive product prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional collaboration across Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Platform teams. You will balance deep technical expertise with business acumen to deliver security outcomes that protect the firm while enabling business agility and operational efficiency.

Job responsibilities

  • Define and execute a multi-year product strategy for network security services aligned with firm cybersecurity objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Drive roadmap prioritization balancing security risk reduction, operational efficiency, and customer experience improvements
  • Partner with CISO and Network Services leadership to align investments and strategic direction
  • Establish success metrics and KPIs to measure product performance, adoption, and business impact
  • Lead a team of network security product owners managing solutions including firewalls, network access controls, segmentation, VPN, and related security capabilities
  • Oversee product lifecycle management from ideation through delivery and continuous improvement
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve service delivery efficiency, including expanding the current ACM automation rate
  • Build strong relationships with application development teams, Infrastructure Platform, and business stakeholders across the firm
  • Translate technical security requirements into business value propositions for executive audiences
  • Handle escalations and navigate competing priorities using diplomacy and data-driven decision-making
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of product owners and product managers

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10 years of experience in product management, including 5 years in cybersecurity or network security domains
  • 5 years of people management experience leading product management or technical teams
  • Deep understanding of network security technologies including firewalls, micro segmentation, zero trust, network access controls, and VPNs
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical products in large, regulated enterprise environments
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and evaluating build vs. buy decisions
  • Experience translating technical security requirements into business value propositions for executive audiences
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Prior experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
  • Experience working within large, complex enterprise technology environments and governance frameworks
  • Background in security engineering or architecture roles prior to transitioning into product management
  • Experience driving large-scale automation initiatives and process transformation
  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies and product management frameworks
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
