Position Overview
iP-Plus Consulting is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer 1 to support an upcoming Federal cybersecurity technology program. - Analyze cybersecurity requirements and apply information assurance principles to enterprise systems.
- Support integration and sustainment of Web Application Firewall (WAF) technologies supporting web assets.
- Assist with implementation, tuning, and maintenance of F5 BIG-IP Application Security Manager (ASM) policies.
- Conduct security engineering activities including:
- system design review
- vulnerability assessment supports
- security testing and validation
- Support patching, configuration updates, and lifecycle maintenance of cybersecurity tools.
- Assist in development of technical documentation, implementation guides, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in system troubleshooting and root cause analysis related to application security issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine security controls for enterprise applications.
- Support cybersecurity engineering efforts aligned with DoD and Federal information assurance policies.
- 7+ years of relevant IT / cybersecurity experience
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Must meet DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level III certification requirements
- Must meet DoD 8570 / 8140 CND-IS certification requirements
- Must be eligible for IT Level I access
- F5 Certified Technology Specialist - ASM (Computing Environment Certification)
- Experience supporting enterprise WAF deployments
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience supporting large enterprise environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
This position is contingent upon contract award.
