Columbus, OH • Financial Services Client • Direct Hire or Contract (W2/C2C)
Own the network security backbone for a major financial services enterprise, real ownership, not a support seat.
What you'll own
• Day-to-day operation and support of enterprise Fortinet infrastructure in a high-security, financial services environment
• Building methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and releases that hold up under audit
• Testing new features and releases before they touch production
• Evaluating how third-party devices interoperate with Fortinet products
• Training client staff so they're not dependent on you for everything
• Being the person who catches issues early and escalates the ones that matter
Requirements
Must-haves
• 7+ years in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support or administration
• 5+ years with network security products, 2+ years specifically with Fortinet
• Strong hands-on FortiGate firewall expertise
• Strong knowledge of Fortinet SD-WAN design, with hands-on experience in a global, multi-site architecture
• Comfort working in a regulated, high-stakes financial environment
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Nice-to-haves
• ADVPN experience
• 2 to 3 Fortinet certifications, EPSP-track certifications are the best-case scenario
• Prior professional services or consulting engineer experience
