$50 - $55 per hour
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client is seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support and enhance a large-scale enterprise network environment spanning offices, distribution centers, healthcare facilities, and remote locations. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in both operational support and project-based work, enjoys solving complex networking challenges, and has experience working across modern SD-WAN, routing, switching, and wireless technologies. You will play a critical role in ensuring network reliability, security, and performance while partnering with internal teams, vendors, and telecom providers to deliver impactful infrastructure initiatives. This is a remote position with occasional on-site support as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Design, implement, support, and optimize enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN network environments
  • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Meraki SD-WAN, Aruba networking, and Cisco routing/switching solutions
  • Perform Layer 1 through Layer 3 troubleshooting to quickly diagnose and resolve network issues
  • Lead and support infrastructure upgrades, technology refresh projects, and network segmentation initiatives
  • Coordinate rack-and-stack activities, hardware installations, structured cabling, and power/UPS infrastructure deployments
  • Collaborate with vendors, telecommunications providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices while supporting day-to-day network operations
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure
  • Strong hands-on experience with Meraki SD-WAN, Aruba routing/switching/wireless, and Cisco networking technologies
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs, routing, switching, and wireless networking concepts
  • Experience with network deployments, infrastructure upgrades, and large-scale enterprise environments
  • Knowledge of rack-and-stack installations, structured cabling, UPS battery backup systems, and network inventory management
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience; relevant networking certifications preferred
