Job description

ComResource is looking for a Network Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize network infrastructure while ensuring high levels of availability, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Design and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN solutions.
  • Perform Layer 1 through Layer 3 troubleshooting.
  • Implement network segmentation and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Support technology refresh initiatives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, business partners, telecommunications providers, and technology vendors to resolve issues and deliver projects successfully.
  • Perform equipment staging, rack-and-stack activities, cabling coordination, hardware installation, and UPS battery backup system support.
  • Manage network asset inventory.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, standards, and best practices.
  • Mentor team members when appropriate.
  • Manage multiple project-based assignments simultaneously.

Essentials:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Strong experience with Meraki SD-WAN, Aruba routing, switching and wireless technologies, and Cisco routing and switching environments.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, network segmentation, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, and wireless networking.
  • Hands-on experience with equipment staging, rack-and-stack, structured cabling, and UPS battery backup systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accountability and high-quality results.
