Position
Program Overview
Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts.
Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business, providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2028 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.
POSITION
Rockefeller Capital Management's Technology department is seeking a Summer Analyst to join its Information Security team this summer. The Summer Analyst will work with experienced professionals to learn about and work with cutting-edge technology and tools. Project output will have a direct impact on securing the data and assets of the firm. We are seeking a curious and delivery-oriented individual with a strong interest in cybersecurity principles, current threats and risk reduction.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with colleagues in driving enhancements across control environment and threat defenses.
  • Stay up to date on current cybersecurity trends and threats.
  • Assist with the development of security policies and procedures.
  • Proactively identify potential security issues and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Communicate and present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the cybersecurity awareness program with innovative ways to communicate the importance of best practices.
  • Partner with colleagues in information security, data and technology to drive performance metrics.
  • Engage senior leadership across the business to promote a risk culture and drive risk reduction initiatives with information security and data leadership.
  • Work with various security tools and technologies to protect the organization's systems and data.

Qualifications
  • High school degree required.
  • Pursuing a degree with one of concentrations in the following domains is desirable: Computer Science, Economics, Psychology, Mathematics, Data or Cybersecurity.

Compensation Range
The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $38.00/hour. Salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of this rate.
