Job Description: Summer Student Aide District Office

Location: Willcox, Arizona

Position Type: Temporary / Seasonal (Summer Months)

Reports To: District Office Administrator / Supervisor

Hours: Part-time or Full-time (as assigned)

Position Summary

Willcox Unified School District is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented student aide to support the District Office during the summer months. This position offers valuable experience in office operations, customer service, and administrative support while assisting with essential district functions in preparation for the upcoming school year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide general clerical support, including filing, copying, scanning, and organizing documents
  • Answer phones and direct calls in a professional manner
  • Greet and assist visitors to the District Office
  • Assist with data entry and maintaining records
  • Help prepare and distribute materials for district programs and departments
  • Organize office supplies and assist with inventory tasks
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Support office staff with special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be a current high school student or recent graduate (minimum age requirement of 16 per district policy)
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
