Ohio Substitute Teacher Services (OSTS) offers substitute teachers the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings throughout Ohio. Substitute teachers play an important role in a student's education. We assist in placing substitute teachers in vacant positions to facilitate a student's education in the absence of their teacher. OSTS is proud to support Parma City Schools in the employment of substitute teachers.

  2. Maintains a neat and orderly classroom: Creating an organized and welcoming classroom environment is essential for a productive learning atmosphere.
  3. Ensures student supervision: Substitute teachers must never leave students unattended in the classroom to maintain their safety.
  4. Keeps students safe and engaged: It's important to keep students engaged in the learning process and maintain a safe classroom environment.
  5. Monitors student progress: Keep a close eye on students' progress and assist where needed.
  6. Maintains existing classroom management and discipline procedures: Consistency with existing classroom management and discipline procedures is crucial.
  7. Understands school policy and procedures: Knowledge of school policies and procedures helps maintain order and safety.
  8. Provides written feedback: Offer feedback to the regular classroom teacher regarding the day's activities and student behavior.

Requirements
