Job Title: Structured Literacy Tutor

Job Location: Montgomery County ESC Language & Literacy Center

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: $80.00 per hour

Full/Part-Time: Part-Time

Days: As-Needed

Who We Are: 

We're a premier provider of high quality, cost effective, special education services in Ohio. We serve 16 public school districts in our county and more than 130 educational entities across Ohio. #WeAreMCESC!

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver explicit, systematic, and multisensory literacy instruction aligned with the Science of Reading. 
  • Support diverse learners through data-driven instruction and progress monitoring.
  • Provide structured literacy instruction in reading, spelling, and writing.
  • Teach foundational skills (phonics, fluency, comprehension, written expression).
  • Use assessment data to plan and adjust instruction.
  • Support students with dyslexia and other language-based needs.
  • Track student progress and maintain documentation.
  • Communicate with families and collaborate with program staff.

What You'll Bring:

  • Structured Literacy certification preferred.
  • Coursework grounded in the Science of Reading required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
