Job Description CuraCor Solutions is seeking a Strategic Advisor with experience delivering innovative, consumer-centric healthcare workstreams to join our growing Care Delivery Services Team! We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial individual that is excited by a role that involves executing a strategic vision for the company. You are the art of the possible, able to successfully support projects related to high-visibility partnerships and acquisitions in an ambiguous environment from ideation to execution. You are a critical thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments, is comfortable with shifting priorities, and who enjoys wearing multiple hats when required.

About the Care Delivery Services Team

The Care Delivery Services Team sits within the diversified business arm of CuraCor Solutions, a family of companies that includes Blue Cross NC and works to help make health care better for all. The team is responsible for overseeing strategy co-development and execution as well as alliance management and advisement functions for CuraCor Solutions' care delivery service investments, FastMed LLC and Alo Solutions. The team was established to help expand consumer access to affordable, high-quality care via the support and advancement of independent primary care and urgent care. In your role as a Strategic Advisor, you will help support and enable the strategic development, execution, and success of the Enterprise's diversified care delivery service investments at multiple levels. If you are ready to join a new and growing division focused on helping the organization achieve its long-term goals by building out a new business area for CuraCor Solutions, then you are the person for this team!

What You’ll Do:
  • Execution/Operations Help manage and maintain an effective shared governance structure between CuraCor Solutions, Alo Solutions, and FastMed LLC; coordinate and co-facilitate shared governance structure meetings and related processes to identify new strategic partnership initiatives; support prioritization of workstreams via business case development and comparison and drive successful implementation.
  • Conduct data analysis and research to provide actionable insights as it relates to potential partnerships and standalone diversified care delivery service asset growth initiatives; drive or support subsequent business case development and cross-organizational decision-making based on initiative type and asset governance structure.
  • Oversee the implementation of partnership initiatives by defining project scope, developing project plans, determining needs and allocating resources, coordinating and facilitating meetings, anticipating and mitigating project risk(s), and monitoring and reporting on progress/success via formation and tracking of KPIs.
  • Co-manage the completion of key ancillary partnership activities required to ensure/enhance partnership or acquisition success such as: internal/external communications; legal/compliance; financial monitoring/reporting.
  • Prepare presentations to keep CuraCor Solutions' senior leadership abreast of care delivery service investments' progress and performance.
  • Strategy Serve as a subject matter expert on CuraCor Solutions, Blue Cross NC, FastMed LLC, and Alo's strategies and stay abreast of industry and competitor developments to help inform strategy evolution and ensure strategic imperatives of investments are met.
  • Provide input on the value of additional partnerships/transactions leveraging relevant CuraCor Solutions subject matter experts, internal and external data assets.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) 3+ years of experience in related field In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field
  • Experience in business development, strategic planning, market/product development, business operations, health care operations and/or project management with health care providers and/or payors strongly preferred.
  • Internal candidates with 3-5 years of broad-based health insurance/health care experience and direct exposure to applicable business areas (i.e., innovation, strategic planning/operations, strategy/business development, healthcare strategy/operations, segment strategy/operations) will also be considered.
Salary Range

At Blue Cross NC, we take great pride in a fair and equitable compensation package that reflects market-price and our starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications and other business and organizational needs.
