About the Team

The Strategic Engagement Team exists to drive focused go-to-market execution for UKG's most critical customers and emerging growth areas. The team creates scalable engagement models, strengthens executive relationships, builds multi-year transformation partnerships, and accelerates long-term revenue growth through strategic customer engagement.

The team's work is centered on outcome-based partnerships, executive influence, co-innovation, value realization, and consistent strategic engagement motions across UKG's highest-priority accounts.

About the Role

The Managing Partner is responsible for maximizing the long-term value, growth, and strategic impact of a portfolio of UKG's most important customer relationships. Working at the intersection of business strategy, executive engagement, and enterprise execution, the Managing Partner partners with customers to accelerate business outcomes, strengthen executive alignment, and expand the value customers realize from their investment in UKG.

Operating across a multi-year horizon, the Managing Partner develops a deep understanding of each customer's business strategy, operating priorities, and transformation agenda. They translate those priorities into actionable account strategies that align UKG's capabilities, executive sponsorship, and cross-functional resources to deliver measurable customer outcomes and create sustainable opportunities for growth.

Success in this role is measured by the long-term health and performance of the customer portfolio. The Managing Partner drives customer retention, adoption, value realization, executive engagement, and expansion by ensuring customers achieve meaningful business outcomes while identifying new opportunities to deepen UKG's strategic partnership and enterprise footprint.

The Managing Partner works in close partnership with Enterprise Account Executives, Customer Success, Product, Services, and Executive Leadership to align long-term account strategy with commercial priorities and customer success. Enterprise Account Executives continue to lead opportunity execution, forecasting, and commercial transactions, while the Managing Partner focuses on strengthening executive partnerships, guiding strategic account planning, and mobilizing the organization around the customer's most important business objectives.

As the executive orchestrator of the customer relationship, the Managing Partner brings together the right people, capabilities, and investments across UKG to remove barriers, accelerate customer success, and ensure every strategic engagement advances measurable value for both the customer and UKG.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Strategic Customer Growth

  • Lead the long-term strategy for a portfolio of UKG's most strategic customer relationships, focused on increasing customer value, retention, and sustainable revenue growth.

  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategies that align customer business priorities with UKG's capabilities, innovation roadmap, and strategic investments.

  • Identify opportunities to expand UKG's strategic footprint by connecting customer objectives with new capabilities, products, and transformation initiatives.

  • Continuously assess customer health, business priorities, organizational change, and growth opportunities to proactively shape account strategy.

Deliver Customer Outcomes

  • Partner with executive stakeholders to define measurable business outcomes and success criteria for the customer relationship.

  • Establish governance frameworks and executive operating rhythms that drive accountability, transparency, and progress against strategic priorities.

  • Champion value realization by ensuring customers achieve meaningful business results and measurable return on their investment with UKG.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate strategic risks that could impact customer outcomes, retention, or future growth.

Build Executive Partnerships

  • Develop trusted relationships with C-suite executives and senior business leaders across customer organizations.

  • Facilitate executive business reviews, strategic planning sessions, transformation discussions, and governance meetings.

  • Position UKG as a long-term strategic advisor by connecting customer priorities with UKG's vision, innovation, and expertise.

  • Expand executive engagement across multiple buying centers to strengthen UKG's influence and long-term partnership.

Orchestrate Enterprise Execution

  • Mobilize cross-functional teams across Sales, Customer Success, Services, Product, Support, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to execute against strategic customer priorities.

  • Align executive sponsors and internal stakeholders around customer commitments, transformation initiatives, and growth opportunities.

  • Remove organizational barriers that impede customer success or strategic progress.

  • Lead executive-level escalations requiring enterprise coordination and executive sponsorship.

Partner Across the Go-to-Market Organization

  • Partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives to align long-term account strategy with commercial priorities and customer objectives.

  • Create executive alignment and strategic conditions that accelerate customer growth and expansion opportunities.

  • Collaborate with Product, Services, and Customer Success to influence investments that improve customer outcomes and strengthen long-term partnerships.

  • Share customer insights to influence UKG's product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, and innovation priorities.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, consulting, strategic account management, executive relationship management, customer transformation, or related leadership roles.

  • GTM Experience in Manufacturing, retail or Healthcare desired.

  • Experience leading complex, enterprise-wide customer relationships with significant commercial impact and executive visibility.

  • Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives and influence enterprise business strategy, transformation initiatives, and strategic investment decisions.

  • Experience developing multi-year account strategies, executive engagement models, transformation roadmaps, governance frameworks, and business growth plans.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead highly matrixed organizations, influence without direct authority, and orchestrate cross-functional teams around customer outcomes.

  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience leading executive business reviews and governance forums.

  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to translate customer objectives into actionable strategies that deliver measurable business value.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing Fortune 500 or Global 2000 strategic customer relationships.

  • Experience in HCM, Workforce Management, SaaS, Cloud, AI, enterprise applications, or digital transformation.

  • Consulting, advisory, customer transformation, or executive strategy experience.

  • Deep industry expertise within one or more strategic UKG verticals.

  • Experience leading executive governance boards, Quarterly Business Reviews, Executive Business Reviews, or customer advisory programs.

  • Demonstrated success developing strategic account plans, identifying whitespace opportunities, driving executive alignment, and accelerating long-term customer growth.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

The pay range for this position is $129,500 to $186,100. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
