Job description

We take play seriously. We're looking for curious adventurers ready to find their party, fueled by imagination and drive to build what's never been built before. At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you'll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.
Step Into the Multiverse: Your Next Adventure Starts Here
At Wizards of the Coast, we harness the power of imagination and connection to create unforgettable experiences. We create entertainment that inspires creativity, sparks passion, forges friendships, and fosters communities around the globe. In every pursuit our mission is to inspire a lifetime love of games. Whether it's through the strategic depth of Magic: The Gathering®, the rich storytelling of Dungeons & Dragons®, or our AAA digital game studios, we build worlds that bring people together, spark creativity, and fuel adventure. As we continue to grow and explore new realms, we're seeking passionate, curious, and innovative minds to join the adventure.
What You'll Do:
In the role of Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be central to driving our forward-thinking and ambitious projects. You will take charge of the end-to-end delivery of cross-vertical programs, starting with the Game Production approvals system implementation. Your responsibilities will broaden to include comprehensive ownership of DigIT's program portfolio as our operating model transforms. You will coordinate collaborators across Product, Engineering, vendors, and business partners around a single source of truth, facilitating smooth progress. Your insight will inform build versus buy considerations as agentic AI capabilities evolve, and you'll oversee the change-management interface, maintaining delivery while the operating model shifts. You will adopt agentic AI as a fundamental tool for program management, ensuring your output aligns with our high standards. Assessing flow, capacity, and quality metrics from the platform to inform team prioritization and decision-making will be critical to your success.
What You'll Bring:
  • 7+ years of program or technical project management experience on complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a single, accountable owner across ambiguous, multi-team programs.
  • High judgment - you know which decisions to advance, which to make, and which to delegate, and you get those calls right under uncertainty.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong bias toward simplification. You cut through complexity rather than adding to it, and your default is the simplest solution that works.
  • Proven track record working with non-technical business partners - setting expectations, delivering clear status updates, and holding programs accountable to outcomes they can act on.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or equivalent) on the operational and program management work- professional or personal - in real work, not just experimentation. You should be able to speak to how AI changes the way you work.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party implementation programs, including change-management risk.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery, sprint planning, backlog management, and Jira or equivalent tooling.
  • Strong written communication skills to convey technical complexity succinctly.
  • Comfort working in a setting where contracts guide the workflow.
  • Track record of managing programs through multiple concurrent system transitions.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience in AI-first or agent-first operating models.
  • Experience assessing build versus buy options and providing organized leadership advice.
  • Background with creative production, digital asset management, or approval workflow systems.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar platforms and their integration capabilities.
  • Background in game, media, publishing, or consumer products industries.
  • Familiarity with engineering observability and flow-metric tooling as program-management signal sources.
