Senior Technical Program Manager

Location: Seattle, WA (4 Days Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives focused on Merchandise Planning, Forecasting, Sizing, Allocation, and Inventory Optimization within a retail technology environment.


This is a highly technical individual contributor role (not a people management position) requiring a seasoned TPM who can drive complex programs, collaborate across Product, Engineering, Data, and Business teams, and deliver scalable technology solutions aligned with business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of large, complex technical programs across multiple teams.
  • Drive initiatives related to merchandise planning, forecasting, sizing, allocation, inventory optimization, and retail planning systems.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies, technical roadmaps, risks, and release planning to ensure successful program execution.
  • Coordinate architecture discussions, system integrations, data flows, and delivery sequencing across enterprise platforms.
  • Ensure releases align with merchandising cycles, planning timelines, and business priorities.
  • Drive Agile delivery practices, program governance, issue resolution, and continuous process improvements.
  • Lead production issue management, root cause analysis, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Present program status, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.


Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of Technical Program Management or Technical Project Management experience.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale, enterprise technology programs in complex environments.
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies and Scrum.
  • Experience working with retail planning, merchandising, allocation, forecasting, inventory management, or supply chain technology.
  • Hands-on experience managing cross-functional engineering, product, and data teams.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data platforms, integrations, and distributed systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/ML-based forecasting or optimization solutions.
  • Experience with planning platforms such as Anaplan or similar enterprise planning tools.
  • Experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms.
  • Background in Retail, Apparel, or Omnichannel commerce environments.


Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
