About the Opportunity
At QIAGEN, you will play an important role in supporting the production of molecular biology products within a regulated laboratory environment. In this position, you will perform routine bulk formulation and production activities according to established procedures while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety while helping QIAGEN deliver trusted solutions to customers worldwide.
Your Tasks Include
  • Perform scheduled bulk formulation and production activities according to approved procedures and applicable regulations.
  • Accurately complete production documentation, batch records, and labor reports in a timely manner.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate standard laboratory equipment to support daily production activities.
  • Identify, communicate, and assist in troubleshooting production issues, discrepancies, or deviations that may impact product quality or data integrity.
  • Support the review of documentation and assist with updating SOPs, specifications, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to departmental and organizational goals through collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable quality, environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards, including ISO, FDA, OSHA, and other relevant requirements.
Your Profile
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with 1-2 years of relevant laboratory or production experience.
  • Ability to apply scientific principles and laboratory techniques within a production environment while working under guidance and supervision.
  • Experience with general laboratory equipment and proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage equipment, materials, and time effectively.
  • Ability to accurately complete production documentation and prepare basic technical records.
  • Comfortable working with potentially biohazardous and/or chemically hazardous materials while following established safety procedures.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work effectively within a team environment, and perform medium physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $45,000-$50,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, geographic location, and other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, we offer a total compensation package that includes a bonus plan and generous benefits.
