ICP Group is headquartered in Andover, MA and has manufacturing and distribution sites throughout North America, Latin America, UK, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.
ICP Group is seeking a hands‑on Translution WMS / Syspro ERP Senior Engineer with 5–7 years of experience and strong functional and technical expertise in Translution WMS and Syspro ERP to support and continuously improve our warehouse and ERP environments.
This role serves as the functional lead for Translution WMS and plays a critical leadership role in Syspro ERP where it supports warehouse, inventory, and operational processes. The position owns system health, configuration, adoption, and continuous improvement, partnering closely with warehouse operations, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, and IT. The focus is on practical system use, scalable solutions, process optimization, and operational reliability, ensuring Translution WMS and Syspro effectively support how the business runs today and scales tomorrow.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Translution WMS and Syspro Functional Ownership
  • Serve as the primary functional owner for Translution WMS across ICP operations, leading all WMS configuration, support, and process optimization. Act as the functional lead for Syspro ERP where it directly integrates with or supports warehouse operations, while also owning selected Syspro ERP functional areas and initiatives independently.
  • Own end-to-end responsibility for assigned WMS and Syspro ERP domains, from requirements of intake through implementation, support, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage directly with business users to understand operational workflows, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate business and operational needs into effective WMS and ERP configurations, enhancements, and solutions.
  • Partner with technical teams and external vendors as needed, while retaining functional ownership and accountability for outcomes.
System Configuration, Development, and Administration
  • Configure, manage, and optimize Translution WMS workflows, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and warehouse transactions. Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of WMS related code, extensions, and custom logic, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with longterm operational requirements.
  • Lead Syspro ERP configuration and ownership for inventory, manufacturing, supply chain, and finance functions tied to warehouse operations, as well as assigned standalone ERP areas.
  • Design, support, and maintain integrations and interfaces between Translution WMS, Syspro ERP, and related systems.
  • Plan, test, and implement system updates, patches, and enhancements with minimal disruption to operations.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and controls to maintain system integrity and internal compliance requirements.
  • Own issues through final resolution, ensuring quality, stability, and accountability in all deliverables.
Process Improvement and Operational Efficiency
  • Analyze end-to-end warehouse and ERP processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for automation, standardization, or simplification.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve inventory accuracy, throughput, data quality, and system usability.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, document processes, and validate solutions.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure system changes meet operational, technical, and business requirements.
Training, Adoption, and Documentation
  • Provide hands-on training and day-to-day functional support to Translution WMS and Syspro ERP users.
  • Develop clear, practical documentation, job aids, and process guides to support consistent and effective system usage.
  • Foster adoption by demonstrating how WMS and ERP capabilities streamline workflows and support operational goals.
  • Identify training gaps and deliver targeted enablement to improve user proficiency and confidence.
Project Leadership and Vendor Coordination
  • Lead functional efforts for WMS and ERP projects, including enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and rollouts.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure timely delivery, quality outcomes, and alignment with business needs.
Change Management and Other Responsibilities
  • Provide post‑implementation support to ensure smooth transitions and sustained adoption of new functionality.
  • Contribute to cross functional initiatives that improve enterprise systems and operational performance.
  • Perform additional duties aligned with business needs and individual capabilities.

  • Experience creating, implementing, and managing user permissions policies to maintain system integrity.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in user-friendly terms.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with end users across various roles and departments, providing coaching and training as needed.
  • Experience developing end-user documentation and training materials to support adoption and proficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to address complex challenges effectively.
  • Demonstrated ethical conduct and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Experience planning and organizing projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business needs.
