About your role:

As a Sr. Dev Engineer - UI Development, you will design, build and support enterprise digital user interfaces and mobile experiences in an Agile environment. You will work closely with architects, backend engineers, product partners and other technology teams to deliver secure, scalable applications that use microservices architecture and RESTful application programming interfaces (APIs). Your work helps create reliable, modern experiences that support business priorities and client outcomes.

What you'll do:

  • Design, build and maintain complex user interface and mobile application components using Angular, React JS, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Develop and support applications that integrate with Java-based backend services, microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Lead technical implementation for UI and mobile development initiatives, selecting appropriate frameworks, platforms and integration approaches for complex solutions.
  • Apply user interface and user experience principles to create secure, responsive and maintainable digital experiences across web and mobile channels.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineering partners to resolve complex technical issues and align solutions with architecture standards, security requirements and compliance expectations.
  • Support cloud deployment and delivery processes using Microsoft Azure, VMware Tanzu, Git, Jenkins, Harness and Azure DevOps.
  • Oversee the quality of technical deliverables by following established engineering standards, testing practices and release processes.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on user interface development, web applications and enterprise digital solutions.
  • 6+ years of experience developing with Angular, React JS, JavaScript, HTML and CSS in production environments.
  • 6+ years of experience building and integrating applications with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture and Java-based backend services.
  • 6+ years of experience using source control, continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Git, Jenkins, Harness or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience deploying or supporting applications in cloud-based environments using Microsoft Azure, VMware Tanzu or similar platforms.
  • Experience working with Oracle, Cassandra or other relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience supporting iOS and Android mobile application development using Objective-C, Swift, SwiftUI, CocoaPods, Carthage or Android Studio.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments across cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Experience applying modern application security practices in UI and API-integrated solutions.
  • Experience creating reusable software components, widgets or shared front-end libraries.

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
