Duties - Based on the specific needs of the department at the time of appointment, a successful applicant must be qualified to teach both undergraduate and graduate-level courses on campus and/or online in the following fields: Sport Administration and Sport Management. Courses may include but are not limited to the following undergraduate courses: SPMG130 Introduction to Sport Management; SPMG230 Contemporary Issues and Problems in Sport Management; SPMG231 Sport Sales, Sponsorship, and Fundraising; SPMG330 Psychology of Coaching; SPMG332 Management and Leadership in Sport; SPMG333 Sport and Society; SPMG335 Sport Marketing Management; SPMG334 Sport Law and Ethics; SPMG336 Sport Management and Community Relations; SPMG337 Governance of Sport; SPMG338 Sport Media Communication Relations; SPMG430 Sport Facility Management and Operations; SPMG431 Sport Business Finance. Additional Graduate level courses in Sport Management may be included: SPMG530 Research Methods; SPMG532 Ethics in Sport; SPMG551 Financial Management in Sport; SPMG531 Sport in American Culture; SPMG552 Marketing and Public Relations; SPMG553 Legal and Policy Issues in Sport; SPMG550 Leadership in Sport Organizations; SPMG554 The Global Soccer Industry; SPMG556 Sport in the Global Marketplace; and SPMG555 International Sport Organizations and Governance. The location for these temporary positions varies with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.

Qualifying Experience and Education (Minimum/Preferred) - MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A master's degree in Sport Administration or Sport Management or a closely related field. Academic specialization, prior teaching experience, and/or prior professional experience relevant to course assignment needs of the department at the time of the appointment. Please indicate which program courses you believe you are qualified for. Demonstrated ability to work with and/or knowledge of diverse populations. Evidence of or potential for effective teaching. Professional qualifications specified in the Zeigler College of Business' policy for faculty qualifications. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: A doctorate degree in Sport Administration or Sport Management or a closely related field is Candidates with experience and willingness to teach face-to-face and online are preferred.
