We’re cooking up something brand new in the heart of Downtown Chattanooga! Embassy Suites is seeking a visionary Sous Chef to be a part of the launch of this exciting new concept. 

Every dish at Olos begins with the same commitment: real ingredients, prepared by hand, inspired by the cuisines of Italy, Greece, Spain, and Turkey.  Olos is designed to be a gathering place, rooted in the communal spirit the Mediterranean has always known. Every team member carries that spirit into their work, whether moving fast at the Market counter or attending to every detail on the Rooftop. Responsibilities for Sous Chef include:

  • Hiring, training, and development of hospitality-focused Team Members
  • Upholding the highest standards for food sanitation and quality
  • Consistently enforcing standards for recipe adherence, food preparation, production, and presentation
  • Ensure use of BOH systems to achieve optimal kitchen performance; line checks, checklists, opening/closing procedures, prep lists
  • Set expectations and monitor performance standards for managing kitchen staff

What we're looking for in an Sous Chef

  • 2-3 years cooking experience in an upscale casual dining restaurant
  • Excellent communication
  • Proven success in a high- volume restaurant
