Set along the park with a welcoming patio for alfresco dining, Pinyon invites guests to linger over a cocktail or a lively spritz while enjoying house-made pita, crudos, pasta, seasonal salads, and an ever-changing array of spreads and dips alongside dishes cooked over open flame—celebrating flavors from Barcelona to Malta while uniting the best global ingredients and time-honored techniques to bring a fresh, sophisticated dining experience to the community.


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Cook with a strong background in Mediterranean cuisine and live fire charcoal grill cooking. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with a Josper live fire charcoal oven or similar solid fuel equipment, and a deep respect for fire-driven cooking techniques. You’ll be part of a fast-paced, collaborative culinary team focused on excellence in execution and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute dishes with consistency and finesse, particularly those cooked over live charcoal.
  • Operate and maintain a Josper or comparable charcoal oven with confidence and skill.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to execute the daily menu with precision.
  • Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards.
  • Assist in daily prep, mise en place, and station setup.
  • Uphold the high culinary standards and seasonal sensibilities of the restaurant.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a professional kitchen, preferably at a high-end restaurant.
  • Proven experience cooking over live charcoal or open flame.
