Spa Receptionist

Company Overview

Spavia Fishers is a luxury day spa offering personalized, results-focused massage and bodywork in a calm, supportive environment. Our membership model means guests return regularly, allowing our therapists to build ongoing relationships and support long-term wellness goals.

As a W-2 employer, we handle marketing, scheduling, and supplies so our therapists can focus on delivering exceptional care in a beautiful spa setting with retreat areas, robes, showers, and top-tier products.

The Opportunity

As a Spa Receptionist (Guest Advisor), you will be the first and last impression for our guests, creating a true five-star experience every time they visit. You will guide guests through their visit, help them select services and products that fit their needs, and ensure every detail of their experience is seamless.

This role is ideal for someone who loves connecting with people, enjoys a calm and beautiful work environment, and wants the stability of consistent schedules while working in the wellness industry. With hourly pay plus commissions and performance bonuses, your earning potential grows as you build relationships and drive memberships and retail sales.

What You'll Do
  • Welcome each guest warmly, anticipate their needs, and ensure they feel relaxed and cared for from check-in to check-out.
  • Manage the spa schedule by booking appointments, answering phones, and coordinating with service providers to keep the day running smoothly.
  • Educate guests on treatments, memberships, and retail products, and confidently recommend options that align with their wellness and self-care goals.
  • Maintain a beautiful, orderly, and well-stocked reception, retail, and guest area that reflects a luxury spa environment.
  • Collaborate with a team that values professionalism, kindness, and growth, contributing to a positive and supportive workplace.
What Success Looks Like
  • Within the first few months, you confidently manage the front desk, appointment book, and phone lines with minimal oversight while keeping guests informed and at ease.
  • You consistently receive positive guest feedback about your warmth, attentiveness, and ability to create a relaxing experience.
  • You meet or exceed membership and retail sales goals by actively listening to guests and making thoughtful, value-driven recommendations.
  • You become a reliable, go-to team member who supports spa cleanliness, organization, and smooth daily operations.
What We're Looking For
  • An articulate communicator who can multitask in a guest-facing role while maintaining a calm and professional presence.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented, with a strong sense of responsibility to both guests and colleagues.
  • A calm, caring energy and genuine passion for helping others feel relaxed, welcome, and cared for.
  • Comfort with learning spa services and products so you can confidently explain options and make recommendations.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly base pay of $16 plus membership sales commissions, retail commissions, and performance bonuses.
  • Benefits may include health insurance, free telehealth, PTO, 401(k), paid in-house training, free employee treatments, employee discounts, semi-annual performance reviews and goal setting, set schedules, and weekly complimentary snacks.
  • Full-time or part-time roles available.
  • Typical shift is 68 hours; weekend and evening availability preferred.
