Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of Spavia Fishers. The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the spa, including staff supervision, customer service, sales and marketing, financial management, and ensuring a high standard of service and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff, including massage therapists, estheticians, receptionists, and support staff.
  • Create employee schedules, assist with payroll, and oversee staff performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development among staff members.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times, exceeding guest expectations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring resolution to customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
  • When scheduled GA hours you are required to be working GA duties. 30-hrs a week

Sales and Marketing:

  • Oversee marketing initiatives to promote spa services, including advertising, promotions, and social media marketing.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative campaigns and promotions to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

Financial Management:

  • Responsible for revenue-generating activities and controllable expenses; Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are provided and monitored by ownership
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and implement cost-saving measures as needed.
  • Analyze sales and financial data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the spa, including scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Implement and enforce spa policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the spa experience for clients, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree, massage therapy license, and/or esthetician license required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of management/supervisory experience (spa, beauty, fitness, hospitality, or retail).
  • Proven sales success (membership/subscription, retail add-ons, promotions).
  • Strong scheduling, coaching, and communication skills; handles pressure well.
  • Proficient in technology (POS/booking, spreadsheets, basic reporting); organized and detail-oriented.

  • Availability on evenings and weekends required; holidays as needed
