Job description

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a full-time Front Desk Coordinator to join the Sampson Medical Group of Newton Grove team!

Description:

The Front Desk Coordinator will be responsible for all front desk functions as well as assisting with patient care when called upon by the physician, coordinates patient flow and ensures care is delivered safely, effectively and efficiently, and collects patient data, demographics, insurance information, and payments. Additional responsibilities include accurately entering the obtained information into the electronic health record and transitions between practices and performs other duties as needed. The Front Desk Coordinator duties are performed within the framework of Sampson Regional Medical Center policies and procedures and current professional standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or higher.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of Electronic Medical record.
  • Previous physician office or healthcare setting experience preferred.

Hours:

This is a full-time position working 32 - 36 hours per week. Additional hours may be required for the effective opperation of the department.
