Job description

The Solutions Analyst position is responsible for supporting the analytics team within ODW LTS. Solutions Analysts will be responsible for cleaning and analyzing internal and external customer data and helping to create companywide metrics. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to be a part of our growing company and that can play a vital role on our analytical team.

Strategic Roles

  • Develop deep understanding of data from a technical and functional/business perspective
  • Compile data from various sources into a single, consumable data set
  • Work with business leaders to identify and develop metrics to track performance and highlight potential issues and inefficiencies
  • Monitoring data quality and maintaining key processes
  • Work with various stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to data quality
  • Document process flows when building out business ideas

Skills and Specifications

  • Ability to process, sort and use data to tell a clear and compelling story
  • Skilled in communicating technical ideas to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and reasoning when facing large or ambiguous issues
  • Familiar with best practices for data mining, data cleansing and data visualization
  • Proficient with data manipulation tools such as SQL, MATLAB, Stata, R, Excel, Python
  • Familiar with creating, refining, documenting, and automating processes

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree (required)
  • Educational background/coursework in computer science/data science/engineering/information systems/economics or equivalent work experience
  • Strong business acumen – financially literate
  • Experience in supply chain or logistics
