Job description

Job Summary:
InterSources Inc is a Certified Diverse Supplier and an Award-Winning Global Software Consultancy that offers innovative solutions for Digital Transformations. They are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow professional to join their team as a CSDM and CMDB Specialist, responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the ServiceNow CSDM framework and CMDB to ensure accurate data for IT service management processes.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement the ServiceNow CSDM framework to align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Configure and customize the CMDB to accurately represent the configuration items (CIs) and their relationships within the IT environment.
• Develop and maintain data governance processes to ensure the integrity and quality of CSDM and CMDB data.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and the business to understand data requirements and map them to the CSDM and CMDB.
• Define and implement CI classes, attributes, and relationships in accordance with best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of the CSDM and CMDB to identify and remediate data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
• Provide guidance and training to IT staff on CSDM and CMDB concepts, processes, and best practices.
• Work closely with ServiceNow administrators and developers to integrate the CSDM and CMDB with other ServiceNow modules and applications.
• Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates and new features and recommend enhancements to optimize the CSDM and CMDB.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to improve IT service delivery and support organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
• 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and managing ServiceNow CSDM and CMDB solutions.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow platform configuration, including workflows, business rules, and UI policies.
• Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices, ITIL certification.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Preferred:
• Additional certifications such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Service Mapping or Asset Management.
• Experience with data modelling, schema design, and relational databases.
• Project management experience and familiarity with agile methodologies.
