About the role:

We are seeking a Bilingual Software Configuration Specialist (Spanish) to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will configure and implement software solutions that support customer operations, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes across international deployments.

Working closely with project teams, you will translate documented requirements into configured solutions using standard platform capabilities, data integrations, and APIs. This role requires strong technical configuration expertise (SQL, Python, APIs), attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate directly with customers in both English and Spanish.

This position is remote within North America and supports a growing global customer base, particularly in Latin America and Europe. Approximately 10-25% travel is expected, and candidates must be able to travel internationally.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage directly with customers (in English and Spanish) to implement Aquatic Informatics software solutions

  • Analyze and interpret customer requirements, translating them into scalable configuration solutions

  • Configure software using SQL, Python, APIs, and standard platform tools

  • Map customer workflows to system functionality and ensure effective solution adoption

  • Perform data validation, testing, and quality assurance to ensure successful delivery and go-live readiness

  • Support implementations across multiple regions, including international deployments requiring travel

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of configuration practices, tools, and customer onboarding processes

Are you qualified?

  • 2+ years of experience in software configuration, implementation, or technical consulting in a B2B environment

  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL (query writing, data manipulation) and familiarity with Python and APIs

  • Fluency in Spanish and English (required) with experience supporting Spanish-speaking customers

  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10-25%)

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Experience working with configurable software platforms, SaaS solutions, or system integrations

Preferred (nice to have):

  • Experience in environmental, water, or wastewater-related domains

  • Experience with ETL processes or scripting (Python, PowerShell)

  • Background in consulting or customer-facing technical delivery roles
