Job description

Job Summary:
Noblis is a company that supports the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) in various engineering and logistics missions. They are seeking a Configuration Management Specialist responsible for managing hardware inventory, documentation, and software configuration management to optimize release processes.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Identifying and resolving issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
โ€ข Work with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
โ€ข Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
โ€ข Defining and implementing configuration management policies and procedures to manage software versions, dependencies, and configurations.
โ€ข Monitoring release metrics and performance indicators to identify bottlenecks, optimize processes, and improve release efficiency.
โ€ข Providing support in areas such as version control systems, deployment automation, change control processes, and release validation.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelor's level degree in any field and 3 years of professional experience in configuration management.
โ€ข US Citizen with a DoD Secret clearance or able to obtain a DoD secret.
โ€ข Experience using NAVWAR software related procedures on submarines, surface, or shore installations.
โ€ข Experience in submarine software installations or installation of networked systems on Navy platforms.
โ€ข Experience using the PEO C4I AI process in lab environments in support of submarines or surface ships.
Preferred:
โ€ข Prior work experience directly supporting NUWCDIVNPT Code 25 submarine Tactical Networks programs.
โ€ข Familiarity with CANES (AN/USQ-208), SubLAN (AN/USQ-177), ADNS, and Tactical Networks Next Generation (TN Next Gen) architectures and modernization roadmaps across SSN, SSBN, and SSGN platforms.
โ€ข Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
โ€ข Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
