Job Overview: As an Engineering Co-Op at Detroit Manufacturing Systems, you will embark on a valuable and immersive learning journey within our tier-1 automotive manufacturing company. This co-op program offers you the opportunity to work alongside our engineering professionals, gaining hands-on experience in various engineering disciplines, contributing to real-world projects, and applying your academic knowledge to help drive our organization's success.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Support:

  • Work on specific engineering projects and assignments aligned with your academic and career goals.
  • Assist in project planning, design, development, testing, and implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.

2. Technical Analysis:

  • Conduct technical research and analysis to support engineering projects.
  • Utilize engineering principles and software tools to solve complex problems.
  • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and presentations.

3. Design and Prototyping:

  • Participate in the design and prototyping of automotive components or systems.
