Job Profile Summary

Gain practical engineering and project management experience through diverse learning rotations led by engineering mentors, all while earning academic credits towards your degree. Durations are negotiable, and rotations will take place during the fall, spring, and summer months following a traditional University curriculum.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Create a bill of materials and develop a scope of work for construction projects based on standard drawings and templates.
  • Review typical engineering drawings such as construction isometrics, process, and instrumentation, and process flow diagrams for accuracy.
  • Tabulate pressure drops through standard equipment designs to assist the operational group with troubleshooting activities.
  • Seek input from the construction team to refine construction manuals as needed.
  • Work with the field operations team to document best practices for common maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct engineering studies for system optimization projects.
  • Develop standard cost metrics per project based on typical project variables utilizing historical spending data.
  • Develop cost-tracking tools for active projects to assist with cost management.
  • Further the design of data management storage and process systems for individual assets.

Education
• Bachelor's Degree or pursuing a degree in related engineering field (Mechanical, Chemical, or Petroleum)
Experience
• 1 - 2 years related work experience professional-level experience preferred
