  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Chemical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
  • Eligible to participate in a recognized co-op or internship program.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and continuous learning.

As a Production Engineering Co-op Student, you'll be immersed in daily manufacturing operations and support initiatives focused on optimizing production processes. Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with process improvement projects to enhance productivity, efficiency, and product quality.
    Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to equipment performance, waste reduction, and process variability.
  • Collaborating with production, maintenance, quality, and safety teams on cross-functional projects.
  • Participating in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assisting with developing and updating standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
  • Supporting equipment trials, process validations, and product testing activities.
  • Creating reports, presentations, and recommendations based on findings and project outcomes.
  • Contributing to workplace safety initiatives and helping identify opportunities to improve operational performance.
